Dioctyl Phthalate (DOP) is clear, colorless, viscous liquid, can be used to make the product easier to rebound and harder to undergo form change under pressure, without affecting of the plastics. It is extensively used in processing of imitation leather, PVC transparent sheets, cable wearer, PVC shoes, hose pipe, electric wire, mould plastic products etc.. and is produced from 2 main raw materials being 2- Ethyl hexanol and phthalic anhydride.
